“Update to my previous review of 6 months ago as noted below: Our previous 5 star review was spot on. We have now been to Burbage numerous times including ordering two fresh turkeys for thanksgiving which were excellent, a porchetta for Christmas, a Chateaubriand for new year and today two heavenly rib veal chops which were worth every penny . These guys are real butchers selling high quality meat at competitive prices. Friendly, knowledgeable professionals. Treat yourself don't eat to live, rather live to eat! Previous review:Throw back to what locally owned butcher shops used to be. We are new to West Ashley so we stopped in to simply check it out. Bought some Italian Sausage (uncased) which we needed for a recipe. Simply wonderful mix of meat, heat and spices. Some great bone in pork chops, chicken salad and assortment of other products. Great knowledgeable, friendly staff. We will certainly make this a regular stop in the future.”

“I purchased a couple of filets and they turned out to be some of the best steaks I've ever had. They were so tender and just the right thing for a dinner date. I stopped in from out of town and while I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to picking anything out, I was treated kindly and with fresh cuts. I thought the price was very good for the portion, especially for the quality compared to a supermarket.”
